Using AutoCaptionGenerator

These terms apply to the caption-generation service at autocaptiongenerator.com, operated under the name AutoCaptionGenerator. Questions can be sent to contact@autocaptiongenerator.com. Use the service only if you can agree to these terms and have permission to process the material you upload.

Your videos and captions

You retain ownership of your uploaded material and generated exports. You give us permission to store and process that material to transcribe speech, let you edit captions and deliver your exports. You are responsible for permissions relating to music, footage, voices and people appearing in your video. Review automatic captions before publication; names, accents, background noise and overlapping speech can cause errors.

Accounts and responsible use

Keep your sign-in email secure. Do not upload unlawful material, infringe others’ rights, bypass usage limits, or interfere with the service or other accounts. We may restrict activity that threatens safety, security or service availability.

Plans and subscriptions

The pricing page describes current export, file-size, duration and retention limits. Starter is billed monthly or annually, according to the interval you select, and renews until canceled. Annual billing charges the full yearly amount upfront; the monthly equivalent is shown for comparison. The checkout states the amount, currency and applicable taxes before you pay. Cancel through Manage billing to stop future renewals; paid access continues until the end of the paid period. Cancellation does not automatically refund an earlier charge.

Polar handles paid checkout as merchant of record. Its checkout buyer terms also apply to purchases. See our refund policy for help with a charge.

Retention and availability

Projects are temporary working copies, not permanent backup storage. Download your originals and completed exports before the expiry shown in your account. Expired or deleted project media is removed by scheduled cleanup. Processing times depend on the video, queue and available capacity. We cannot promise uninterrupted access or error-free output.

Changes and your rights

We may update the service and these terms. The current version and update date appear here. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Contact us before relying on the service for a time-critical or sensitive workflow.
